A lack of work contributes to poverty, crime, homelessness, domestic violence, substance abuse, unplanned pregnancies, divorce, and suicide. By helping students discover and experience the dignity of work, Elevate Work brings hope to the hopeless and helps break these destructive behavioral cycles caused by perpetual unemployment.
Elevate Work students discover the importance and dignity of work. They learn communication and problem-solving skills, gain confidence for interviews, create a resume, and better understand what employers need and want in their best employees. It connects the unemployed and underserved population of our community with the necessary tools to uncover and overcome the roadblocks which are keeping them from finding and keeping a job they enjoy.
of Elevate Work graduates are employed full time.
of Elevate Work graduates move from homelessness or a motel room, to permanent housing.
Elevate Work partners with several local employers to secure guaranteed interviews for program graduates. Many of these partners also provide mentors, panel participants, and mock interviewers to help students during class sessions.

2022 ELEVATE WORK Class Dates
March 22, May 3, August 23, & October 11
- Classes meet every Tuesday and Thursday night from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. (Dinner starts at 5:00 P.M.)
- Each session is 9 weeks, for a total of 18 classes.
- Childcare, dinner, and transportation are available for students.

Class Sponsor: Supports classroom learning, mentoring, and hands-on workplace experiences.
Kids Class Sponsor: Parents in the class can bring their children to learn and be cared for too.
Student Sponsor: Make this program possible and keep costs affordable for participants.
